John Xie, MD PhD

Dr. Xie is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology and has extensive experience in cataract surgery. Dr. Xie graduated from UC Berkeley and received his joint MD PhD training at the University of Southern California. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at Gavin Herbert Eye Institute, at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Xie takes pride in evidence-based and compassionate eye care. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, and conversational Spanish. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking and traveling with his loving family.


Eric Shieh, MD

Dr. Shieh is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist with expertise in sutureless cataract surgery and minimally-invasive glaucoma surgery. He received his bachelor’s degree at Harvard College and his medical degree at Harvard Medical School. He completed his ophthalmology residency at UCLA Stein Eye Institute, which ranks among the best in the nation. An active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, he is passionate about providing outstanding patient care. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.


Regina de Luna, MD

Dr. de Luna is a highly accomplished board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist, recognized for her expertise in cataract surgery and advanced intraocular lens technology. She graduated with honors from Yale College before earning her medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Her rigorous training continued at the prestigious Duke Eye Center, where she completed her ophthalmology residency. Dr. de Luna is a respected presenter at national and international conferences and a journal reviewer for Ophthalmology and the American Journal of Ophthalmology. Known for her compassionate and patient-centered approach, she is dedicated to providing the highest quality comprehensive eye care.
