John Xie, MD PhD

Dr. Xie is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology and has extensive experience in cataract surgery. Dr. Xie graduated from UC Berkeley and received his joint MD PhD training at the University of Southern California. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at Gavin Herbert Eye Institute, at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Xie takes pride in evidence-based and compassionate eye care. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, and conversational Spanish. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking and traveling with his loving family.


Eric Shieh, MD

Dr. Shieh is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist with expertise in sutureless cataract surgery and minimally-invasive glaucoma surgery. He received his bachelor’s degree at Harvard College and his medical degree at Harvard Medical School. He completed his ophthalmology residency at UCLA Stein Eye Institute, which ranks among the best in the nation. An active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, he is passionate about providing outstanding patient care. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.


Regina de Luna, MD

A Bay Area native, Dr. de Luna graduated with honors at Yale College. She received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and completed her ophthalmology residency at the renowned Duke Eye Center. She has presented at many national and international ophthalmology conferences, has served as a journal reviewer for Ophthalmology and the American Journal of Ophthalmology, and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. de Luna is delighted to return to her hometown as a comprehensive ophthalmologist after many years of training on the East Coast. She is fluent in English and Tagalog. She looks forward to providing the highest quality care as a comprehensive ophthalmologist.
