Planning Your Visit
We look forward to seeing you at Advanced Eye Associates. We will do our best to make your experience with us a pleasant one. Please bring the following to your visit:
Photo ID
Medical insurance cards
Referral and insurance authorization letters
Medication list (including your eyedrops)
Your eyeglasses
We are located at 200 Jose Figueres Avenue, Suite 350, San Jose, CA, adjacent to Regional Medical Center of San Jose at the Jackson/McKee intersection. There is free parking and elevator access to our location on the third floor.
Please note that our ophthalmologists perform medical and surgical evaluations, and they do not write prescriptions for glasses or contacts. We are happy to recommend optometrists in the area to help you with your glasses needs.
What to Expect on Your Visit
We know your time is important to you. During a complete eye evaluation, you will be seen by an ophthalmic technician and the doctor and obtain any needed tests and/or procedures.
Your eyes will likely be dilated with eyedrops, which will cause blurry vision and light sensitivity lasting about 6 hours. We feel it is helpful to have a family member or friend accompany you on your visit to drive you home and help you absorb information on your condition.
The process takes time, up to one to two hours. We ask for your patience.
Patient Portal
The patient portal will allow you to access your medical records and communicate with us electronically.
